Whilst this honey is usually harvested in the Summer, usually in the middle of May, it is made up predominantly from the forage available to the bees in the springtime. In this region, the dandelions, horse-chestnut trees, apple and pear-blossoms, oil-seed rape and most spring flowers give rise to this first honey flow of the season. This is why we call it ‘Spring Honey’.

This is early season raw honey,
directly from the bee-hive. This honey is extracted from one hive only, not mixed with other
batches and is not heated or treated in any way, to preserve all of the honey’s best properties. It is usually made from the nectar produced by early flowering plants from April-May, mainly rapeseed in our region. Delicious, golden and light in colour and is renowned for its multiple health benefits.
