This honey is made by the bees from the summer forage available to them. It comes with the second honey-flow of the season and is ready for harvesting in July/August depending on the weather conditions on offer to the bees.

This is Summer season honey, made from the nectar gathered by the bees from all the flowering summer plants. A really beautiful addition to summer charcuterie and cheese boards, strawberries and raspberries, creams and ice-creams. and as natural as if you were eating it straight from the hive.
From time to time you might find some propolis in your jar of honey that makes its way through the strainer. This is a dark red/orange or brown colour which is a natural hive product made by the bees. It contains many healing properties and antioxidants and so enhances the properties. It is also sold separately.
