At Royal Organic, we produce wholesome food, as nature intended it. You can rest-assured that what you see is what you get. Environmental protection and animal welfare are two priorities at the heart of what we do here, where nature and nurture go hand-in-hand. 

We are a family of five and we are a first generation farming family. Conor and I both work off the farm too. I am a primary school-teacher and Conor is a Corporate Finance Advisor. We love country-life, nature and good food. Many conventional food production methods across the world include the use of harmful chemicals and/or poor animal welfare standards. So to create this brand and to have a farm from which we are able to breed and raise the animals in a happy environment, safe and cared-for and to produce some wonderful foods and products, we are very fortunate. It presents a wonderful opportunity to test organic farming theory and to trial and discover the most sustainable means by which to do it.  Whole oven-ready turkey, ham, pork, bacon, bees-wax candles, hives and honey is on offer at present here in our online shop. We plan on offering a wider variety of produce in future to include seasonal fruits and vegetables and organic eggs. In addition, we are keen to get to a point where we can offer some courses throughout the year ranging from bee-keeping, candle-making, children’s camps and organic farm-walks. It is early days yet but we are making strides.

The farm is in its final stage of the two-year Organic Conversion process with the Organic Trust, which means with any luck we should be able to celebrate the full-certification stamp with you before the Autumn draws to a close. We are working towards the goal of ‘An Siopa Feirme’, café and ‘Gairdín’ here on the farm, a space for people to come and take some time-out, in an inclusive environment that has something to offer everyone; ‘nurturing planet, nurturing self’.
